TriMet's actions to reduce crime on their Max (light rail system) totally ignores the true reason for the exponential increase in violence and that the Invasion of Illegal Aliens in both Hillsboro and Gresham.

The Criminal Illegal Aliens and their importation of Illegal Drugs are the root cause yet the City of Portland and TriMet will waste millions of taxpayers dollars seeking new ways to solve the problem.

Now the City wants to create a Day Labor pickup site for the Illegals to gather and steal work from US Citizens.

How insane is that?

Tonight, Multnomah County Sheriff Bernie Giusto was on TV News telling about his office's recent effort to arrest wanted Sex Crime Perpetrators.

He mentioned something to the effect, that if someone is charged with 20 sex crimes they are likely guilty of 40.

It was a compounding statement.

Tuesday evening on KGW TV-8 News I watched as our friend US Sen. Ron Wyden was shown meeting with a group of College Students who were complaining about being Ripped Off by credit card providers.

Yep, some were stuck with 32% annual interest rates.

There was Ronnie shaking his finger and explaining how he was concerned.

The sickening part of all this is that Ron Wyden was instrumental in striking down our Usury Laws which has lead to and allowed such thievery.

P.S. Don't ever allow him to show you around a slaughter house.

Champions of Change! Think of the Opportunity

Very soon thousands of Illegal Alien children (who have been flooding our Oregon schools for many years) will be coming of an age when they will will be seeking Drivers Licenses and when hopefully they will be denied that privilege.

This should leave them with two choices.

#1 To remain here in the US and live with a transportation dilemma created by not having a drivers license and other related identification complications.

Or #2 returning to their Homeland where they can begin to transform the Social and Political Fabric found there and bring it out of the Third World squalor it presently suffers.

If you were them what would you do? Stay in the US and be part of a sub-culture or return home and become Champions of Change?

Imagine the positive impact all those thousands of Bilingual, Bicultural young people can bring to their land of birth.

Look what our young people with the Peace Corp and other support groups have been able to accomplish abroad and them without the Language and Cultural connections these Illegal Alien youth can enjoy. Only a Racist would claim the Illegal Alien children are not equal to the task.

With their help and our support they can collectively bring about the much needed changes to Mexico and other countries South of our border and that result will strengthen the entire continent.

That happening I can see where our investment to date in the Illegal Alien Children may well justify some of the costs.

But first we must start the ball rolling with Enforcing our laws as is now being proposed.

Not doing so would deny our neighbors to the South the greatest opportunity they will ever know.

Its time for some Tough Love. Believe me, it works but it takes guts.

I am first thankful to God for having allowed me to enjoy this his wonderful creation we call Earth, and for all these many years.

I am thankful to my Father and Mother who gave me this life and also fought to help me survive the first weeks of this grand adventure.

I am thankful to my late Wife of forty three years who gave my life purpose and meaning and also who gave birth to two of the Greatest Sons a man could ever hope to enjoy.

And, among the many other wonderful rewards I am thankful for all of us who are living in the United States of America, which is without a doubt the Greatest Nation under God his world has ever known and that built on the sacrifices made by those who have gone before us.

Yes, I am thankful and I am grateful, on this day and all others.

The Oregon Association of Nurseries has created their own problem.

The TV commercial showed what looks as a young mother out to do her Christmas shopping and using her GPS Mapping device to guide her every step of the way. Who needs Rudolph?

I'm sorry, but I can't think of a soul that I know who would ever need, or ever want, a GPS Mapping device to help them find their way during a shopping spree in their own home town.

All I can think of is how they might be handy if I were an Early-out Executive (50 plus) that is launching a new career in Pizza Delivery.

Her today spinning to the Right and telling "more of the story" after giving that biased report in support of Gabriel Allred's Mexican grandmother (on KPTV-12) the other evening, was a blatant effort to save her credibility.

Do you suppose she will ever explain the reason crime is low in the Mexican grandmother's village its because all the Criminals like her son have come to the USA to rape and import meth?

The change I saw today was with the delivery of the SJ's publication as it was a Solo effort by a lonely DHS employee. No MR/DD student along today to practice their tossing a news paper out a car window. And, the MR/DD's handler was also absent.

Who knows, with gas now over $3.20 a gallon perhaps DHS is going to give up the job opportunity as did the private contractors.

If the Mexico home belonging to Gabriel Allred's grandmother were in Salem, Oregon today the City would be declare the property "Uninhabitable" and it would be Posted as Closed by Code Enforcement.

The lack of glass in the windows, peeling (likely lead) paint on the living room ceiling and the lack of a hand rail on the stairway are only a few notable violations that I spotted during a fast viewing.

Also, with Kerry Tomlinson being K-12's reporter known to us for local stories about Dirty Dining I only wonder why she did not show us the condition of grandma's kitchen? How could she overlook that?

And did you notice how few adult males were seen in the video shown on KPTV 12 News this evening. The video of their Mexican Festival showed women dancing with other women. Now where do you suppose all the men have gone?

The only reason I can imagine why Oregon's DHS is against the Brandt family keeping their foster child Gabriel Allred is that Mr. Brandt is a Deputy Sheriff and he Keeps Guns in the home.

What about the Good News?

We are hearing a lot in the news about Portland's TriMet (rail and bus public transit system) as the level of associated mayhem and murder has grown to the point that it can no longer be ignored. Gang bang!

But what about the Good News out of Salem?

This news has to do with how changes in our area Bus (transit) System has resulted in a great reduction of crime and violence. That is except for problems at the downtown transit center where the criminals are now forced to congregate.

You see, last Spring the voters soundly defeated a ballot measure that was intended to greatly expand the bus system and secure operating money needed to sustain an earlier service increase.

The end result of the ballot failure was a service decrease of 50% in many areas and a greater decrease of criminal activity in those same areas. Yahoo!

Even the crazies don't want to be stranded in a strange neighborhood for over an hour let alone the fast moving drug sellers and/or burglars.

What we have here is a win-win-win-win.

We have less bus noise to contend with, less crazies and criminals wandering our neighborhoods looking for kids to attack or something to steal, less tax waste and the Police have most of them corralled downtown where the drug buyers must now come to find the dealers.

But you should hear the downtown retailers screaming. They want something done about all the criminals wandering the streets and hassling shoppers.

Now, where do you suppose they came from?

News has it that Oregon ranks 34th among the states that are good for small businesses. This, according to the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council.

However, news also has it that Salem's Real Estate values are the 4th hottest in the states and that due to a . . . Strong Job market.

With much of Salem's industry already having left and small businesses dropping like flies in January, can we assume that Salem's growth is in Government employment?

These movable wall-like barriers would allow maintenance staff to reshape floor plans into different rat like mazes overnight, thereby making it difficult for Al Qaeda to plan ahead.

Or hyphenate Division Street to Chavez-Division Street.

And, they reported there have been Political Threats made against specific commissioners and followed that with a person in the street stating they would not vote for any who didn't support the name change.

Searching for Hikers or Hunters?

Judging from their looks I suspect a good number of the hikers that have become lost in the forests East of Portland (and needed tax support rescue) were actually Hunting for Illegal Alien Pot Grows more than seeking a chance to commune with nature.

As one searcher explained, when people leave the trails and go running through the underbrush they can often find themselves floating in the air after falling off a cliff.
