Press #2 for Spanish.

Here is a phone trick I learned!

If you call a governmental agency, public utility, medical facility or any place that offers you to either Press #1 for English or #2 for Spanish, and then parks you on Hold for an extended time . . . Hang Up.

Next, call back and Press #2 for Spanish.

Odds are that your call will be answered immediately and the person answering will also speak English.

I toss in a Spanish word here and there just to make it legit as otherwise they will scold me.

But what do I care. I enjoy the good old fashioned service and being scolded by a Bi-lingual (ESL) person Inspires me.

Here is something you won't likely see in the News!

The four poor struggling farm workers that were arrested Wednesday in Salem with Seven Pounds of Cocaine (plus other drugs) with an estimated street value of about $315,000.00, are all on . . . Immigration Hold in Marion County Jail.

Josefina Herrera-Ortiz, 36
Jose Meza-Vazquez, 31
Jose Huerta-Navarro, 31
Everado Ramirez-Canizalez, 27

Now, after they complete their sentences in our Prison system (at our expense) we get to send them back to Mexico.

We don't have the names of the 3 Children who are now wards of the State and will be our responsibility until they turn eighteen and likely beyond as the odds are stacked against them becoming successful, contributing citizens.

An overlooked aspect!

One outcome of the 9/11 WTC attack that I suspect the Bush Hating Liberals can find as positive, is the Illegal Aliens who perpetrated the murderous acts died without the NSA having violated their Constitutional Rights by monitoring their phone calls.

Why is this story so newsworthy?

Portland based TV News is all a twitter tonight about Canby firefighters finding a 4-year-old girl wandering alone on Highway 99E at 7:30 Wednesday morning.

They go on to tell of how the child was reunited with her mother about and hour and a half later after she had wandered away from a baby-sitters residence and a firefighter explained of being surprised no one else had stopped to help the child.

Note: Neither the mother or the baby-sitter had reported the child missing.

I don't understand why this story is so newsworthy when similar situations occur quite often here in Salem, where very young children are found wandering alone day or night and some have even been found playing in traffic. So what's all the excitement about?

No, we are not hardened and cruel as its more of a Cultural thing. Perhaps people of Salem have done more to Embrace Diversity than the folks in Canby.

Hole found in Alaska Airlines plane

SEATTLE – An Alaska Airlines plane was forced to return to Seattle Monday after a gash in the plane’s fuselage caused the aircraft to lose pressurization.

According to a National Transportation Safety Board spokesman, the incident began when a ramp worker hit the plane with a baggage cart or baggage belt machine.

==========================================

The TV News story went on to explain how the number of similar incidents has increased since a new service company (Menzies Aviation) recently began providing (lower cost) ramp and baggage handling services.

Then the camera switched to show baggage handlers obviously "abusing" the items they were loading on a plane and all of whom looked as they could use a good and solid Identification Verification . . . and perhaps equipment use instructions in Spanish.

This is an interesting story: http://www.king5.com/localnews/stories/NW_113005INK

Is this insane or is it just me?

Today, our favorite Oregon State Representative Jeff Kropf sub-hosted Lars Larson's KXL talk show, when his feature point of discussion was Anchor Babies of Illegal Aliens being given Citizenship Rights.

What I didn't hear discussed was how many pregnant Illegal Aliens enter the US simply for the purpose of creating an Anchor Baby and in the process enjoy the benefits of US Taxpayer sponsored medical services.

Its called a Two-Fer . . . that often extends into a Ten-fer . . . or even a Twenty-Fer!!

Meanwhile we the taxpayers are being saddled with a HUGE National debt so both the Democrats and Republicans can hope the offspring will vote in their favor.

We are getting results!!!!!

January White Sale?

In the last few weeks I have seen fewer and fewer Illegal Aliens wandering the streets and hanging around the Mini-Marts.

We have also enjoyed a considerable reduction of bodies found in the tall grass, less fatal head-on collisions, fewer high-speed Police chases and the amount of late night gun fire and hit-and-run car accidents is near a five year low.

So, what is it the cold weather? Or, have many of the oppressed people returned to Mexico so as to enjoy their bounty in warmer climates or have they simply gone back to re-supply on Meth-based Diet Pills so as to capture the usual post News Years weight-loss craze?

Perhaps we will have a new meaning to the term, January White Sale?

Here we go again!

Headline: Police Chastised In Sniper Shooting Report

Police are again in trouble for shooting an Armed Subject that refused to drop their weapon.

I think we need to establish a Guideline that conforms with Charles Darwin's Law of Survival.

That being if you fail to drop your weapon after Police have given you directions to do so, be that weapon a gun, a rifle, a knife, a screwdriver, a machete or a sword, . . . you have then identified yourself as being unfit . . . and you are going to die.

We can rename the SWAT as Chucky D's Dispatchers.

It works for me and all those taxpayers who are fed up with coddling whackos.

But I certainly did enjoy his honesty

Mr. Allyn of Allyn & Company (the Texas public relations firm hired to help improve Mexico's US image) was on Bill O'Reilly's show tonight when he explained that Mexican nationals can enjoy 50% higher incomes by simply finding work in the USA (Illegally).

Not one word about any coming here to feed a starving family of sixteen or them being driven by anything other than a pure "desire for MORE money" which we in the States often describe as Greed.

In spite of his toothy grin and bouncy response he didn't do much to help El Fox'ez cause, but I certainly did enjoy his honesty.

All it needs is music

We stupid Gringos, what have we done?

This is what we are hearing from our friends South of the border.

Mexico Vows to Block Border-Wall -- Mexican government, angered -- U.S. measures shameful and stupid -- Mexico is not to permit wall -- US proposal is a slap in the face -- Mexicans feel betrayed -- Immigrants have Rights -- Proposal has generated ill-feelings in Mexico.

Such a sad song. All it needs is music as then we can ask Sam to "play it again and again and again."

Where was Colonel Sanders when we needed him?

Last night KGW TV-8 News finally jumped on the bandwagon (about five days late) and told of the SE Portland Drug Bust that lead the Police to a residence they found filled with Fighting Cocks. Yep, roosters bred for Contest! Its big South of the border.

The story spin wasn't that much about the large quantity of Drugs, or the Huge bundle of cash, or Hispanic couple (likely Illegal Aliens) that were arrested . . . as it was more about the plight of the Poor Chickens.

The warm and fuzzy Punch Line was that two eggs were about to hatch and luckily for them they will begin their new life in safe surroundings at the animal shelter.

So goes Christianity, so goes the USA

I am not all that concerned if the Iraqi elections result in creation of a Moderate Islamic based government.

This is with my appreciating how the United States has benefited from a foundation based on moderate religion, how that has helped us succeed and how recent damage to our faith-based foundation has eroded our strength and today gives question to our future.

Those who believe in nothing can expect a future of equal result.

5:00 PM Follow up on the struggling SE Portland Chicken Farmers

KGW TV did mention the story about the Fighting Cocks and the drugs and the money.

But, said nothing of the persons names, no pics and nothing about their Immigration Status.

Note: KATU's 5:00 PM news was preempted by sports and nobody watches KOIN.

In Salem its easy to see that Christmas is near

Sure we see the lights and decorations as everywhere else. But here in Salem its what we don't see that also tells us the joyous season is at hand.

An example of that is what I didn't see today when passing the local Full Service Car Wash. This is where you normally find a gaggle of Hispanic dudes wiping clean and drying every crack and cranny of every vehicle as it leaves the tunnel.

However, as usual before Christmas I was only able to spot one Hispanic and several more Gringos toiling with blued fingers. You see many of the Illegal Aliens have returned home with their Bounty so they might enjoy the good life and the Warm Weather Mexico has to offer this time of year.

Now, if we are quick we can build the 700 Mile border fence they were talking about in Congress today so those Americano Gringos (non-Illegal Aliens) can keep those Miserable Cold Weather Jobs . . . the Mexicans don't want.

TV News Struggling for Words

The TV News folks are Struggling for Words tonight as they try reporting on the events unfolding today in Iraq.

Some of the stories have begun with, "it seems voting in Iraq today may have been a success" or "perhaps today's voter turn-out might be larger than last" or "without use of their cars many Iraqis walked a dangerous path to the polls" and on and on.

Well, in my book there is no Perhaps or Maybe to it as the Voter Turn-out in Iraq was obviously a Roaring Success.

A 70% turn-out tops anything we can muster here in the USA.

My bet is a number of News Script Writers will spend a restless night wrestling with how they might blunt the positive edge off tomorrows news stories.

Wednesday, December 14, 2005

They just don't get it!

The people of Iraq have given our Anti-War Activist the Purple Finger three times now and they still don't get it.

It was a good thing we have done. Expensive and painful but necessary.

If we had not stepped in when we did, Saddam would have been taken out by Iran and/or Syria and/or other Iraqis and then the whole Middle East would have erupted into a war the world ever regret as China and/or Russia would have then grabbed for the Oil Carrot and things really would go up in smoke.

The area would then become known as Crater Iraq and we in the US would be salvaging house paint for the petroleum content.

Absolutely Amazing!

Tonight a Portland TV News reporter came to us live from the scene of an earlier and horrific head-on car accident that had occurred on 99E.

This is when she told us of a teenage girl that is being charged with a felony in relation to the accident, and that due to her using a Cell Phone while driving.

As the reporter was picking through the bits of shattered car parts left strewn about the roadside, she happened to uncover a badly damaged Cell Phone (or parts of) which she I suspect she (as I) assumed was a remainder of the earlier accident.

I don't know who's Cell Phone that was, but wouldn't you expect our Crack Traffic Accident Investigation Teams (the folks that like to close highways for countless hours on end and who I am told document and account for every grain of sand so they might later "reconstruct the scene") would have found it?

And, how can they "reconstruct the scene" if they leave that many mangled car parts behind in the tall grass?

All this helps build my suspicion these "Traffic Accident Investigation Teams" are more of an over-time builder than an effort of picking up the pieces to a puzzle.

Who knows, perhaps both drivers should be charged with a felony if it were found that both were talking on Cell Phones at the time of collision.

How about your children and their children?

It seems Media Scriptors have hyped Tookie's plight to death in an obvious effort to spare him from it.

Even our local TV news people were all reading from the exact same copy except for those who I suspect had it memorized. It's almost as if some Wire News product comes tagged with "Do Not Change" instructions.

Therefore, many viewers never heard that Tookie's Children's books were much less than "Best Sellers" as their purpose was more intended at showing him in good light than helping others avoid his path.

And, that Charles Manson is equally qualified for being a Nobel Peace Prize nominee as was Tookie.

But that is how our children will remember Poor Tookie and they will also enter adulthood with thinking how cruel our society had been to another of the oppressed.

Yes, I know you likely know all this, but how about your children and their children?

Have you noticed lately?

How the news people (be they Print of TV) are seldom including descriptions of the Bag Guys (generic term) after telling us of the Kidnapping, Shooting, Stabbing, Killing, Hold-up, Hit-and-Run accident or some other violent crime when the perpetrators have gotten away free.

Example: Burger King worker reports kidnap, robbery http://www.oregonlive.com/news/oregonian/index.ssf

Of late they often just close the story with a request that if anybody knows of this occurrence to, please call Police.

So who are they shielding?

What they hey, today some charities and non-profits explain how they won't report crimes if they involve Illegal Aliens and that out of retribution fears, so do they expect a neighbor or associate will?

Illegal Aliens delivering your Newspaper?

Newspaper publishers often hire sub-contractors to deliver their papers and its common for them to hire others to complete the task. The publishers primary responsibility is to the advertisers in delivering the printed material to the appropriate drop.

Getting the ads out, that is what counts!

I suspect some folks don't have a problem with that, however I do as I delivered newspapers when in junior high and can well appreciate what's to be discovered about a neighborhood while tripping from door to door in the dark of morning.

So who is visiting your neighborhood at 4:00 AM?

Saturday, December 10, 2005

We have our TV News Champions of the Truth!

After watching enough local TV News today to fill a little box, I can now report finding that of Portland area's stations KATU, KGW and KPTV did tell of the 23 persons arrested (or sought) last week relative to Salem/Keizer Police breaking up a Mexican sourced Heroin ring. They all went on to say the ring had been serving over 300 buyers in the area for many years and all rightfully praised the Police's efforts.

However, KOIN made no mention of the success as is evidenced on their web page. I guess the story wasn't worthy of their telling.

The good news is that KPTV Fox-12 did provide viewers with greater details and did include explaining they were mostly Illegal Aliens.

"Criminal Slaves working in America."

The weeks Willamette Week lead story tells how Illegal Aliens are being forced to repay those who helped them Illegally enter the US and in fact often become, "Criminal Slaves working in America."

To think how US Citizens are now competing for work with Illegal Aliens who are laboring under threat of being harmed or killed (or their family) if they don't cooperate.

This might also explain their much touted work-ethic as it may result from having a gun pointed at their heads. Fear does have the ability to make folks hustle!

Also, the threat of death or violence might work in mustering a few hundred people to wave Red Flags at a protest event, where US Citizens have gathered to complain about unfair distribution of tax supported services. They did seem well tended and responsive to their leaders desires.

Perhaps now we know why most Illegal Aliens make little attempt to assimilate into our culture and why there is such an effort to maintain a separate (criminal) sub-culture. The Devil makes them do it!

Have a nice flight!

Channel surfing this AM I came across Court TV showing a Florida courtroom where a trial is being held for Americas West pilot(s) charged with being drunk in the cockpit prior to the aircraft departing the airport.

On the witness stand was a Hispanic male (explained in a screen crawl as the a fellow employee) who was the tow-vehicle driver that day assigned to push the aircraft out and away from the terminal building, thus allowing the aircraft to leave the terminal under it own power.

The prosecuting attorney then asked the witness (fellow employee, tow driver) if he was the person operating the tow-vehicle that day and was then prepared to push-out the AW aircraft.

That is when the tow-driver explained in broken English how he was confused with the meaning of the words . . . push-in and push-out.

Golly, I hadn't realized the job complexity of a tow-vehicle operator.

Have a nice flight!

What, no more State Bulls?

Is the attempt to Disband the Oregon State Police a veiled effort to bring an end to the constant "Traffic Accident Investigations" that are blocking our roadways and helping destroy our already weakened economy?

It looks to as our OSP is central in bringing together local law enforcement people with ODOT and thus creating these "Over-time Cash Cows" that are second only to a neighborhood evacuating, hostage negotiating, SWAT, armored personnel carrier, bomb squad, stand-offs.

Perhaps if they are successful we can again travel our State roadways without the constant fear of being caught in a 12 hour traffic jam while an "Investigation Team" arrives from distant locations only to document every grain of sand within a 1/4 mile radius.

No big loss to me as the only time I see OSP officers is on three-day holiday week-ends and/or involved with another road-blocking, bladder-bursting, Traffic Accident Investigation.

Oregon Taxpayers Champion has Arrived!

Oregon Rep. Dennis Richardson, R-Central Point, is chairman of a legislative committee that's seeking solutions to the Department of Human Services frequent budget problems and it looks as he means business.

He is already putting pressure on DHS that hopefully will bring an end to the nonsense that for years has been primary in making Oregon a Welfare State and today draws thousands of Illegal Aliens as well as Welfare Drones from the other 49 States including numerous US Protectorates.

Please take the time to visit Rep. Dennis Richardson's web site at http://www.leg.state.or.us/richardson and give him all the support you can muster.

If we don't support those who support our best interests the government establishment will organize and take them down as they have all their predecessors.

Hip, hip Hooray!

It seems that several NW Conservative Bloggers have gained the attention of the Socialists/Anarchists that are bent on destroying the USA and have us all wearing Red.

They have Slimed my blog (and others) with personal attacks on undeserving people and for that reason I have opted to delete the "Comment" invitation from the web site . . . and I think its great.

I receive plenty of supportive comment via other channels and that is more than good enough to keep me going.

And, the Sliming does confirm that we are again wagging the dogs tail.

I'm inspired!

Ain't it amazing!

With all the reporters notes taken, and all the microphones and cameras stuck in my friend Daniel's face yesterday at the site of the Mexican Consulate's Carousel, (Woodburn, OR) I have yet to see, hear or read of his comments in any of the many established news media's products.

So, what's wrong with Daniel? Absolutely nothing and that is the reason he finds himself in the deleted bin.

You see Daniel is concise, articulate and speaks to the point with delivering facts any sane person will find inarguable and any attempts to counter his statements will fail in disaster.

Simply said, Daniel spoils the party and ends the argument the news people hope to milk for years to come.

Their purpose is to feed the flames and continue the conflict as what is the News Business without more and bigger News?

One Shop Stopping?

The other day I was encouraged with finding a person of Political Influence (PI) in Oregon, that was unaware of the Mexican Consulate's activates across the state at what they call their (weekend) Carousels of Information.

This person became very interested with learning of the Consulate's purpose is to help Illegal Aliens obtain Mexican identification allowing them to open bank accounts in the US, to buy homes in the US, to borrow money, to obtain drivers licenses, to access to tax funded housing support, to join the Oregon Health Plan, to WIC, to food stamps, employment help and many other services available from twelve or more public agencies including help from the Secretary of State with . . . voter registration.

Note: With Motor-Voter registration its as easy as checking a box on a drivers license application.

The following day this person of PI was provided with facts and documentation supporting the earlier claims (from several sources) and their level of interest increased to such degree they decided to swing into action and make some calls.

The response came within 24 hours with a note explaining how they had news. That was the purpose of the Carousels was an "outreach" to assist "Legal Immigrants" who were uncomfortable and felt intimidated when entering a governmental agency.

But the really good news was how the organization they are associated with might be able to participate in future Carousels of Information and thus encourage visitors to join that effort.

Amazingly enough this person of PI, that had been hot on setting things right, had been completely neutralized and was now spewing the party line, and that all seems to have resulted with their contacting our Secretary of State's office.

Now, is that called One Stop Shopping, or is that One Shop Stopping?

Scissors, small knives and screwdrivers!!!

Yippee ya hoo!

Scissors, small knives and screwdrivers are again being allowed as airline carry-on baggage!

Now we can all break the in-flight boredom with again honing our skills at small appliance repair.

That should help Oregon's lagging employment picture.

Headline: Intel plans $3.5B wafer plant in Israel

Well now, I am a lot more confident the conflict in Iraq will resolve itself in the foreseeable future and thus the Middle East will not explode as it well could well have only a few months ago.

Now, do you really think Intel wouldn't make such an HUGE investment in the area if they thought otherwise.

I'm confused!

I assume from the spin that most TV News people are avowed Darwinists, so why then are they so alarmed with their explaining all the extreme dangers we face during the Christmas holiday season.

Don't they know that deep frying turkey and Christmas tree fires along with falls from roof tops and ladders are all part of herd thinning process?
