TV News Struggling for Words

The TV News folks are Struggling for Words tonight as they try reporting on the events unfolding today in Iraq.

Some of the stories have begun with, "it seems voting in Iraq today may have been a success" or "perhaps today's voter turn-out might be larger than last" or "without use of their cars many Iraqis walked a dangerous path to the polls" and on and on.

Well, in my book there is no Perhaps or Maybe to it as the Voter Turn-out in Iraq was obviously a Roaring Success.

A 70% turn-out tops anything we can muster here in the USA.

My bet is a number of News Script Writers will spend a restless night wrestling with how they might blunt the positive edge off tomorrows news stories.

Allen,

The problem for the MSM is that it's " the elephant in the room". It is amazing for such an historick event that we have heard so little. On the other hand I am well versed on how the Democrats feel the President violated my rights by secret wire tapping. Ignoring that the constitution allos him to do that very thing.
