What, no more State Bulls?
Is the attempt to Disband the Oregon State Police a veiled effort to bring an end to the constant "Traffic Accident Investigations" that are blocking our roadways and helping destroy our already weakened economy?
It looks to as our OSP is central in bringing together local law enforcement people with ODOT and thus creating these "Over-time Cash Cows" that are second only to a neighborhood evacuating, hostage negotiating, SWAT, armored personnel carrier, bomb squad, stand-offs.
Perhaps if they are successful we can again travel our State roadways without the constant fear of being caught in a 12 hour traffic jam while an "Investigation Team" arrives from distant locations only to document every grain of sand within a 1/4 mile radius.
No big loss to me as the only time I see OSP officers is on three-day holiday week-ends and/or involved with another road-blocking, bladder-bursting, Traffic Accident Investigation.
