The StatesmanJournal demonstrates their Socialist Craft with planting an Opinion piece in its Sunday issue that claims to be written by a Single Mother by the name of Rosa Osqguera where she tells (with help of an English speaker) of her plight with having three young children (disabilities involved), unemployed and not being able to find affordable childcare.
Its obvious to me the piece was planted with the intent to fuel anger and hatred among the responsible members of the public and also cause more fragmentation in our society which they intend to destroy.
Please take five and read the piece and tell me if you suspect as I that tgomez@hsri.org sought out Rosa so as to tell her story and did so under the specific direction of their editor. I also don't suspect that tgomez is bright enough to realize how they have been used and for what purposes.

All in good time!
The statue of Oregon's former Governor Tom McCall was dedicated today in Salem's Riverfront park.
There was a steady stream of visitors while I was there early this afternoon, but no ceremony.
Some were asking others if anybody knew when the ceremony was to occur with expecting as I to catch it about 1:00 PM.
That was when we learned the Dedication was at 10:30 AM this morning (Friday) and I questioned why didn't they hold the event on Saturday afternoon when more people could attend.
Then came the answer. Friday AM was the best time during the week to gather Public Officials and Friday afternoon was equally as difficult as Saturday.
Silly me. Guess I need to start thinking like a Public Servant.
P.S. Most visitors were wondering how long the Bronze fishing pole would last.
Where is Mr. Clean when we need him?
Looks as Harry Reid and his Demo Pals are in an extra Big hurry to cover their Dirty Laundry and working to blame others for dragging their feet.

I will draw the line!
If and when the Credit Card Bankers ask for a Bail Out after it was they who built false profits by providing Plastic Money to the same Illegal Aliens that have turned my once fair city into a Hell Hole where children can no longer play in their yards and women can't go shopping alone.
President Bush can't buy enough TV time to convince me to think otherwise.
The Vultures are circling!
Who are those waiting in the Clubhouse with bags full of Billions to buy all those thought questionable mortgages we taxpayers are likely to assume ownership of, and then to sell at auction for 10% of face value, if we can get that much?
And, who are those fellow US companies and investors that are waiting to assist foreign investors to buy title to our Real Property for a fraction of its worth?
Curious how our news people are not talking about what might come after we pay for a Wall Street bail-out.

My economic recovery plan!
Over the next ten years we import 20 million new residents from wherever we can find them. It doesn't matter who they are or where they are from as long as they eat, breathe and quickly become consumers.
The shear increase in demand they will create for housing, vehicles, schools, medical and social services and law enforcement will keep our economy pumping for ten years or longer and give us time to discover another .com like charade to replace the last one.
Weasel Alert!!
In the past few years I often became frustrated when calling US Senator Gordon Smith's office with learning that "his voice mail was full."
However, today with his re-election in question calls to his office are taken by a living person who will even ask for your name and zip code.
I'm touched by his new found interest in my thoughts and opinions.

Go ahead, Google it up for yourself
The top 3 States with the most foreclosures are: California, Nevada & Arizona The top 3 States that are the most dangerous are: Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona Now, relative to resident profile what do you suppose those states have in common?
Friday, September 19, 2008
Well now!
As US Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson explained today, "we have over 5 million sub-prime mortgages that are in distress.
Golly, that's only 100,000 bad sub-prime mortgages per state.
Not to worry as Uncle Sam is here to save the day and as usual the working poor in the US are getting stuck with sucking up the tab.
Actually we are only picking up the Bad mortgages as others (???) are keeping the good ones for themselves.
But not to worry as you and I can buy shares in some of those keepers and if they ever declare a profit we might enjoy a dividend.
Ah yes, the ripple benefits of Embracing Diversity!

Bingo, the word I was searching for.
Today Shawn Hannity described Sarah Palin as Authentic.
Right on! My impression precisley.

The housing bubble began in the 80s
That was when Counties and other small governments discovered they could circumvent voter imposed tax limitations and increase their incomes simply by over-evaluating real property and then learned owners welcomed their newly found and growing (unearned) equity. Look Mom, I can grow assets without really trying.
When it came to increasing tax revenue for small governments Assessors became . . . Accessories.
And that's how Government Grows.
The constant upswing in evaluations then drew investors wanting to benefit from the ever increasing appreciation and so the spiral began that now brings us to where we are today.

Where is that you ask? We are over the top and headed back to Reality.

Ain't it Amazing!
Since the mid 90s, nobody on Wall Street (Moody's, Standard & Poors, Fitch Ratings) had a clue that unqualified buyers were obtaining loans on cars and homes, when lowly used car dealers were amazed to discover how easy it was to make sale-after-sale to different customers who were sharing the same social security numbers.
But then we had the local Real Estate and Mortgage sales professionals that found it profitable to look the other way and avoided making waves. Hold your nose and pinch your toes as there was money to be made.
Not to forget all the Big Box retailers that handed out Credit Cards with asking few if any questions.
So now we have a huge kettle of smelly fish and it looks like we legitimate Citizens and taxpayers are again getting stuck with holding the handle.
It looks as the days of reckoning are upon us and I'm mad as hell.

But wait, there is more!
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is using high-speed cameras at high angles to catch Truckers who are not using Seat Belts.
Yes, looking down from an overpass the offending truck drivers are easily spotted and photo documented.
Yes, looking down from an overpass the offending truck drivers are easily spotted and photo documented.
Golly, wouldn't that high-angle tool be useful in catching the many drivers who have removed their Mini-van's rear seats so Police won't see the 10 little kids that are crawling around on the floor.
Oop's, I'm sorry that might be seen as the Police are targeting a Minority and that would be Racist.
Besides, in their Culture they have kids to spare and just for the same reason.

The headline reads:
Organized crime takes control in parts of Mexico
Can we then expect 50 million more Political refugees?
Or will the Mexican Criminals simply take more control over the US as that would separate less families which our government thinks is all important?
Perhaps we should ask US Senator El Gordon Smith?

I visited Galveston Island back in the 80's
And that was about a year or so after they had suffered yet another Hurricane.
It was amazing to see the many homes having been built high on pilings that were missing roofs and walls and had been left un-repaired. Some still contained furniture and personal belongings that were visible from the street.
Then I spotted a four story, half block long, modern motel building that looked to be in good condition save all the broken windows.
Then I noticed that it had been pushed off its foundation by several feet. Wow!
At the time I was questioning why many of the damaged structures were being rebuilt and at whose expense. Now I know better.
Now, if I were to build a house on a rail-road track in Oregon can I expect Texans to run to my aide when a locomotive crashed through it?

Out of the mouths of babes
When Bill O'Reilly asked what he would do with 15 Billion in Alternative Energy seed money (over 10 years) Obama explained that JFK didn't know how he was going to reach the Moon when he launched the Space Program.
Bingo, he is right!
Bingo, he is right!
I recall those days and Obama is quite correct as while JFK was big on rockets I and others were pitching the use of Bungee Cords, but in those days we called them Elastic Tubes.
And then we had my neighbor who was building a VW powered spinning-top like vehicle that he predicted would enter a different dimension and thus make the Moon trip an easy skip-and-a-jump.
Out of the mouths of babes comes thoughts of years gone past.

Sarah is our Gift!
It was amazing to see and enjoy listening to her deliver "The Message" after landing in Fairbanks this evening.
Her class, style, warmth and sincerity flooded that camera with a breath of Fresh Air.
The Message is what we 'Regular People' have longed hear and thought the socialist organization would never again allow to break away from their hold.
Sarah is something the Planners hadn't planned on.
Go Girl, we have your back.

Lets not forget!
Word on Wall Street has it that Saudi Arabia's cost of oil (ready to ship) is $9.00 per barrel and its the cries of Drill, Drill, Drill heard here in the US that is behind their decision to Not reduce production even though the world market price is falling like a rock.
They hope the lowered price will take the political heat off our efforts to become energy self sufficient.
Now isn't that Democratic of them?
Simply apply an ICE Pact to the infected area!
Headline: Rockwood Residents March In Protest Of Violent Crime
Gresham's mayor, some City Council members and business leaders urged neighbors to support the upcoming tax levy to hire more police officers.

Why is it,
We are always hearing about problems in Haiti be they hurricane related or more political unrest, yet the Dominican Republic which makes up the larger part of the island seems to get along quite well.
Perhaps they should be known as the Haitian Democrats and Dominican Republicans as then we would understand.

Salem Considers Neighborhood Surveillance Cameras
Save our money as most any Legal resident of Salem can already describe the suspects the cameras will catch in action.
A case of Bad Timing!
I suspect Boeing management would like nothing more than a US workers strike that would provide them with another excuse for delaying the 787 Dreamliner and also help build a case for their exporting even more production work.
But then just as many United Auto Workers have learned, they can always get a license to sell Real Estate as they liquidate their retirement earnings.

Its was all our Asphalt!
As the demand for gasoline has increased so has the refineries ability to make the most out of every barrel of crude oil.
This improved productivity has reduced the amount of sludge or tailings which in part is used for making Asphalt.
Yes, that black gooey stuff that we use for paving our streets, roads and highways. Need more be said?
But that isn't all as it seems while we in the US have been sleeping and Embracing Diversity foreign entities have been quietly buying our major gravel quarries, cement suppliers and Ready-Mix concrete companies like crazy.

Who is that you ask? Why it includes our friends at CEMEX Worldwide who are based in . . . Mexico. http://www.cemex.com/
Don't look now but they are closer than you might think.
United States Cement Plants
14 Cement Production Capacity (mmt/year)
15.4 Cement Plants (minority participation)
4 Ready-Mix Plants
552 Aggregate Quarries
130 Land Distribution Centers
40 Marine Terminals
Data as of December 31, 2007
So lets keep hiring Pedro and Jose to mow our lawns, paint and roof our homes as what you have been paying them has been feeding Mexico and helping the folks like Cemex build their empire.
Now what are we going to do but pay big as I hear that Cemex is soon to raise prices astronomical amounts?

As a CNN reporter (female) explained,
Sarah didn't hit a home run tonight. No, she delivered a Grand Slam!
Suggestion to all the Liberals who watched her speech tonight. Try using Simethicone, an oral anti-foaming agent.
Read more about it here:

Fair Report!
The State Fair looked to be well attended this year and even I made two trips through the gate. Saturday's crowd was the largest I have ever seen. Now, did more people attend or did fewer just stay . . . too long at the Fair???
The best part was the Free Parking that for several years had become a rip-off when City Center Parking of Portland had been given the unique opportunity to charge fair goers a healthy sum to park on State land. Sweetheart deal I guess.
I did notice the majority of young people working at the Fair Info booths as well as the Carnival Games were Hispanic. However, most of the young folks working at the rides and food services were Gringos. Curious?
The highlights were the Credence Clearwater performance that was 50% sold and the Mexican Gang fight that some claim was attended by several hundred.
Perhaps next year they will show the Mexican Gang fight on the schedule and hold it in the horse arena where the bloody soil can be heat-treated later to eliminate any bio-hazards.
That providing the Goldschmidt Team hasn't built High-Rise, Low Cost Housing on the property and that funded with Lottery dollars.
