When Bill O'Reilly asked what he would do with 15 Billion in Alternative Energy seed money (over 10 years) Obama explained that JFK didn't know how he was going to reach the Moon when he launched the Space Program.

Bingo, he is right!

I recall those days and Obama is quite correct as while JFK was big on rockets I and others were pitching the use of Bungee Cords, but in those days we called them Elastic Tubes.

And then we had my neighbor who was building a VW powered spinning-top like vehicle that he predicted would enter a different dimension and thus make the Moon trip an easy skip-and-a-jump.
