The growing separation of income classes in the US is mostly the result of large and small Government's repressive regulations and associated cost increases that larger businesses can absorb or pass-on, but will quickly suffocate smaller operators lacking such transfer ability.

Expanding an existing business with enough resources to surmount the mountains of Red Tape is difficult but near impossible for an entrepreneur chasing the American Dream.

Moments after the local TV News completed their report on another new law being discussed that would again ban Plastic Bags, they immediately switched to talk about the collection of (Christmas) Toys for Tots they have amassed in Studio A and what did we see but a Huge Pile of Plastic.

Now where do you suppose all those chemically laden Plastic Toys end up?

That how the Citizens of Aumsville, Oregon have made every possible attempt to use the News Cameras in telling the World "they Don't Want or Need any Government Help, thank you."

Saw it on TV!

TV News people were visiting Portland's Pioneer Square and happened to catch a camera close-up of some of TriMets Transit Police.

That was when I noticed that one was wearing the Transit Police shoulder patch and just below that was another patch that said "Bomb Squad."

Can we assume they have their own Bomb Squad Response Truck and their own trailer carrying a Big Steel Explosion Containment Vessel?

Out of control, I tell ya, totally out of control!

Remember how not long ago Spokespersons for the Police, Fire or Road Departments were senior members of the government agency who were either nearing retirement or had become disabled on-the-job and were very knowledgeable and excellent at answering News Reporters Questions about some breaking news situation?

But have you noticed how many if not most of them have been replaced by some of the same News Reporters who not long ago were asking the questions and now deliver well polished and sanitized Live Reports to the next generation of News Reporters.

Yes, New News Reporters who themselves hope some day to land one of those Government Spokesperson Jobs when they are tasked with crafting Polished and Sanitized news reports (Press Releases) that spin the agency in the best possible light.

What prompted me to write this was watching TV News and how the Good Looking, Pony Tailed, Spin Crafter, Blond, working for little Albany Oregon's Fire Department, delivered 45 seconds of uninterrupted dissertation about recent arson activity in the area to a New News Reporter who simply stood there holding a microphone.

Looks to me that Investigative News Reporting has been reduced to finding the Government Spin Crafter working a Breaking News event. It should be easy to find the Government Spin Crafters as they have faces fit for the camera.

I just received this post card from a Private Business, HD Supply which is a the commercial division of Home Depot, who is offering to send me one of their catalogs Free of charge.

Now isn't that both Economical and Green as they are not wasting time, paper and money sending their catalogs to those who have no desire or need. But if you want one, you get one.

Quite unlike our local Chemeketa Community College (CCC) who over a year period sends a near equal amount of Catalogs (by weight) to every mailing address in Marion, Polk and parts of Yamhill Counties and all without want or request by the recipients.

Oh excuse me, I forgot CCC is a tax supported entity and doesn't need to worry about costs a productivity.

It should be noted and appreciated!

Most of the positive economic news we are hearing today has directly resulted from the November election when the Liberals got their butts kicked.
