Remembering the good old days
When owning a home near (or adjoining) a Public Park or School was considered a good thing?
When kids waited at a school bus stop without several parents there to protect them.
And, some of those who they now protect their children from are fellow students and their parents?
When kids could play in their front yard or walk to a friend's house without fear of being kidnapped?
My bet is the recent defeat of the Bush/Kennedy bill signals a swing in public attitude and we are soon to see a reversal of the degradation of our society.
I want my country back and I aim to get it!
