They were early this morning!

Not only that, but the State Employee was alone while using the State owned vehicle and she was obviously quite new to the task of delivering the StatesmanJournal's Wednesday Shopper News.

Again, no sham student with just a lonely Public Employee working off a list of addresses and often finding themselves back-tracking a good deal of the time.

I would think DHS would at least provide their employees with some kind of GPS navigator devise so they can increase their productivity.

With the Legislature struggling to find money to keep government services alive I would think such tool would be a worthy investment of Taxpayers money.

Perhaps with so many people unemployed today the State might find a good deal on a used Garmin or Tom Tom on Craig's List.

Update: To Bobkatt. Been there, done that. The World knows including many members of our Legislature and TV News.

I just came across your blog. Is this a common situation? State vehicles used to deliver private newspaper ads? If so, maybe you should get a video of the driver actually throwing the paper or walking to the door. It would seem that if you had the vehicle number and the activity on tape someone would be interested.
