Well now!
Looking at the map I can't seem to find the "Exclusive Mexican Section" at the Oregon State Fair 2007.
It seems the Mexican part of the Fairgrounds that was closest to Mexalem (NE) has been invaded by a 4H/FFA area. You know, those troublesome kids that do Farm stuff.
On first glance this might seem a positive change, but then I wonder.
Is it just a move to spread Diversity across the Fairgrounds so we can now expect to see Gangbanger Knife Fights everywhere, not just in Hispanic-ville and the Fun Center that was once called the Gay Way?
I may drop by and check-out the perceived change.
Who knows, perhaps it might help if there were a few Big ICE banners hanging on the fences?

I've been baffled by the lack of Mexico in the State Fair ads too. After 2 years of swearing we might never go back we are actually tempted to go this year! After shopping with all of Mexico in downtown Salem today my outlook is somewhat pessimistic though.
