While many were sleeping!

These hearty Americans were spending their Early Saturday Morning (9:30 AM) in joining SEIU members, families, and friends who are protesting SEIU for helping Open Borders and Illegal Alien support groups.

Illegal Aliens who are taking our jobs by working for less and who the SEIU prefers to call "undocumented workers."

Not to worry as the protest goes on till 1:00 PM, so you have time to join if your hurry.

A few of the groups SEIU funds and supports with SEIU member dues are as follows:

PCUN - (Northwest Tree Planters and Farm Workers United) Open border and illegal alien supporters. www.pcun.org

PCUN-KPCN Spanish Radio Station

CAUSA - open border group www.causaoregon.org

KBOO - Radio Station - open border and illegal alien supporter. www.KBOO.fm

Mexican Solidarity - www.mexicosolidarity.org

VOZ HISPANA - voter registration www.atrfoundation.org

SEIU supported the Immigrants Rights March. In plain English that means AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS. This march was paid for with union dollars by SEIU Executive Board and elected officials.
Thanks to OFIR for their support. http://www.oregonir.org/
P.S. If you like you might drop by the nearby Doughnut Shop and see who is working in the kitchen. My guess is the immigrant owner's children have left for college and they needed some cash & carry help to replace the missing family members. What employees, where?
1:45 PM Late update:

Today I spent several hours holding a protest sign while standing on Commercial St. (in Salem) between two SEIU members and that was an hour + more that what I had intended. My old bones hurt after standing a while.

My extra effort resulted from talking with SEIU members and recognizing the potential sacrifice they were making by "bucking SEIU's grain" and knowing how that may come back to haunt them.

Standing up for "what is right" takes courage and today I was lucky enough to meet several SEIU members who have plenty of that quality.

As one member explained, SEIU expends more effort to support Illegal Aliens than they do to help US Citizen employees who the State is accusing of violating guidelines.
Whether the SEIU members is right or wrong is irrelevant as they leave them to fight for themselves and often out numbered. So what's a Union for?

Those union members are very brave to take on the union thugs. Imagine, being seen as a rebel for standing against an illegal alien invasion!
