Time to drop your Roman Numerals!

It was about 4:48 AM when I was awakened by a noise outside (yes we sleep with a window open as most bad guys have yet to learn the value of silent running) and found a Jose and his bottle-blond girlfriend in the neighborhood trying to deliver news papers.

The noise was coming from her beater K-Car that was idling away as Jose was running around holding up a piece of paper and attempting to match the house numbers shown there, with what he could find matching on the buildings. Careful, the Font style can throw a guy as I'll bet for him its something like matching ink blots. But what are you going to do when you can't read or write?

But the story wasn't over.

As I found later we also received a newspaper even though we don't subscribe. I salvaged the rubber band.

And then, a little after 11:00 AM we received yet another copy delivered by someone who looked as another Non-English speaker (driving a 90's Ford Explorer with a very noisy transmission that whined and ground like a cross between a weed-eater and a orbital sander) and he looked to also be matching house numbers by holding up a piece of paper so as to make the comparison.

Pretty lousy service, no?

I'll bet that if you can do it better you can have their jobs. But only if you are willing to do it for less than what they demand and also speak Spanish.
