The timing of Intel announcing their plan to build a Big New Chip Plant in Hillsboro just days before the election had anything to do with the size of the Tax Pass they are to enjoy?
And, did they say anything about what is to happen with the Old chip plant and the people that work there?

I've looked for an announcement on the size of the government subsidy for this planned "expansion." Nothing on the governor's website.
It is worth noting, isn't it, that last year Intel closed a plant employing a thousand people in Hillsboro, and additional systemic cuts that left 4-5 thousand unemployed?
Or, did the "media" miss this?
