Good Sign of the Times!

Went out for my weekly McDonald's food fix today (McChicken sammich) and because of road repair and store remodeling I needed to travel out of my neighborhood finding myself at a Mikey D's very near North Salem High School at a little before 3:00 PM.

Knowing the area I was not surprised to find the interior loaded with Hispanic high school kids who were all yammering in Spanish Only and a smattering of them being young girls dressed like hookers as usual.

But what I was surprised to see was Not One Hispanic working behind the counter or in the kitchen.

I don't expect E-Verify to visibly thin the Mexican population very soon as their displacing Gringos didn't happen over night.

Allen, I have enjoyed reading your blog and agree with most everything you've posted especially in regards to the infestation of illegals in our beautiful city. Not sure how I ran across you years ago, but glad I did. I've been waiting for your post on the upcoming protest this Saturday where literally hundreds of bratty Mexican children will be running wild at the Captitol. I don't understand why we're expending such energy and money to hunt for illegal border crossers when it would be easy to just gather them up at events such as this. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I also wonder what if any rules/policies there are regarding Mexican workers from speaking Spanish on the job. I see this everytime I eat at Burger King and most McDonalds. I have thought to call and complain but with no whites in sight, I'm sure the manager is likely Mexican too. I have been to the McDonald's you are referring to and have rarely seen anyone but Mexicans working there.

Earlier this week I shopped at Walmart on Lancaster, something I try to avoid but it was closest at the time. I got angry when I tried to check out because the debit card machine was in Spanish only and there was no way to change to English. Even the cashier (who was Mexican) had no idea what to do. The only button for language said Espanol. Why are we catering to these people and making it so easy for them to live in our country? I wish there was data on how much nationally is spent on translated alone. It must be in the billions each year. The question...why?

My biggest fear is that in the next 3-10 years when all these stairstep 0-5 year olds enter school and/or reach child bearing age, that our community will no longer be able to support itself. Budgets are strained enough now, but we haven't seen anything yet. The crime rate will likely double and gangs and driveby shootings will be a regular way of life here.

Thank you for your blog and for your valid opinions. Your concern for our community is shared by many including myself. It's just sad that we must sit by and watch our home be destroyed by these parasites, but it seems we're helpless to do otherwise. What miracle will come along and save us from this unwanted invasion?
