Here we go again!

It looks as Russia has given up on free market capitalism and reverted to their dictatorial ways.

Could it be because:

#1 They recognize its impossible for them to compete with China who enjoys the ability to better handle the Islamic threat? Iraq being a prime example.

#2 That controlling the flow of oil is key to maintaining a world power?
