In Memory of those who have fallen in service to the Citizens

This event is to honor the 190 law enforcement officers from Canada and the United States that were killed in the line of duty during 2007.

Special honor will be paid to Marion County Sheriff's Office Deputy Kelly Fredinburg who was killed in an automobile crash, while responding to a call for assistance last summer. One hundred eighty-nine red carnations and one white rose will be placed at the memorial to honor the officers and Deputy Fredinburg.
