An exercise of Dedication and Commitment

14 Months of continual service!

Today, as has been traditional for over a year the Oregon State Department of Human Services vehicle is out again in my neighborhood delivering the StatesmanJournal's Wednesday Shopping News.

However, this AM was different as the Mentally Retarded Student (MR/DD) who has been in Auto Route delivery training (even though they can't drive) for all that time was absent as was the person who rides along as the students handler.

That leaves us with Only the DHS employee working alone in delivering the publication. Now that is commitment!

What, has the student and their assigned handler graduated to pushing the start button on an automatic dishwasher at Denny's?
