Are we safer in Mexico?

What a surprise!

The question remains, do Mexicans behave like this in Mexico?

Yes, to some degree (especially so if they are drunk) but not as frequently.

There are two reasons:

#1 They get drunk less frequently in Mexico as their income is less and they simply can't afford the alcohol.

#2 Mexican Police are known to deal with law breakers in the street and less in the courtroom.

Whereas here in the US the money is easy and the government tends to look the other way.

And, here if they are caught breaking a law they are handled with kid-gloves, often receive a paper citation under whatever name they choose to use and then sent on their way . . .Scott Free.
