Here an Office, there an Office!

All of a sudden I see these small, one-person Insurance Sales offices springing up all over town with three more opening within a 1/2 mile of my residence in the last month alone. Golly, are they All over the State?

Why is that you ask?

Perhaps to serve the growing Cash & Carry (el dinero efectivo y lleva) Crowd.

The same people who Governor Ted wants to catch with a Sales Tax as otherwise they fly below his Income Tax Radar.

Just like the Spanish speaking woman who was ahead of me in check-out at Costco today who paid for a Huge cart load of everything and paid the Huge tab from a Huge roll of $100. bills.

Oh yes, her membership had expired as of 1/1/07 and quick as a flash she covered that with a few more peels from the roll.

11:45 AM Sunday update note:

For those commenter's who fail to grasp my point, it is how our business Culture is changing to become more like that of a Third World Country (Mexico) where Cash Talks and which will lead to the demise of the governmental infrastructure that has allowed us to prosper as none before.

Governments only hope will then be found in promoting a Cash-less society where all transactions use a traceable credit or debit card system which will only strengthen growth in an underground barter system that will include illegal drugs as having a tangible value.

Also, what is to think of a person shopping at Costco, who doesn't speak English and is packing several thousand dollars in CASH? What, is American Express offensive to their culture?
