A few weeks back I predicted that we (the US) would be on the hook for some of the cost in rebuilding Lebanon.
An sure enough, today it was announced that we are in for our share. Bingo!!!!
Perhaps if we spend some more National Debt money they will like us more?
So this was how it stacked up as I see it:
We gave Israel millions upon millions in foreign aid, much of which they used to buy bombs and missiles made in the US, by Israeli owned companies, which they used to blow up a good chunk of Lebanon, and now we are going to give Lebanon more foreign aid to help rebuild what our bombs destroyed after Israel used them.
Now, whose Bank do you think we will use to transfer the funds and what will they charge?
Ever get the feeling we are a bunch of bowling pins?
