So who is the Winner here?

While standing in the Big Box store's Customer Service line I notice the folks ahead of me are returning a power tool and without the box or items that would normally come in a new package.

Click, click, they gained their refund without question!

So I asked the clerk if the item had been defective as I have considered the product.

She then explained of owning one just like it and finding it an excellent tool. However, there is a use learning need that many people are not able to handle or have the time to devote.

With the store selling at wholesale prices they can't fill the need for product training as found in retail, but then many of those retailers who could have are now . . . out of business. Gotchya!!!

Now, the returned item will be sold through a liquidator or sent to Mexico at a substantial loss and we the consumer will pay the Big Box Store more to offset that loss.

It looks as only the manufacturer gains, but then the Big Box store has beat them so far down on profit they need the extra volume to off-set that loss.

What the heck, its likely made in China and replacement parts and service are not available for them anyway.
