Most feel safe in Salem, Police poll says

The results of the survey conducted by the Police Department suggests there is room to improve, but "I think the results show that Salem is a very safe place to live," Salem Police Lt. Bill Kohlmeyer said.

Residents request more patrols, better drug enforcement however only 18% of 194 people polled consider the city a hotbed of illegal activity.

Nearly 20% of those the Police surveyed see the city as a hotbed of illegal activity.

Question #1: What were the other options offered relative to levels of crime and fear?

Question #2: Is less than 20% thinking the city a hotbed of illegal activity considered good?

Question #3: If things are so safe and fuzzy why do most want more Police Patrols?

Question #4: Why didn't the waste-water treatment folks conduct the survey as they are more familiar with this kind of BS?

Question #5: Did they Press #2 for Spanish?
