I can't believe I am saying this, but we need a New Government Agency.
Perhaps we can call it, the Department of the Official End, or the Overall Department of Its Over!
Why not, the Brits have an "Ex-Checker."
They will be "tasked" with declaring an end to specific government activities and in a timely fashion relative to the taxpayers benefit.
Activities such as traffic accident investigations, crime scene investigations (as per the Marion County Courthouse) impact studies, task force investigations, diversity reviews and the many other like efforts that now work only to the workers best interest.
Otherwise these make-work projects will run on-and-on until they get bored with earning all that over-time or the tax bracket notching spoils the desire.
