TV News reports other countries the US has helped with their disaster recoveries are now questioning why we in the US are proving unable to help ourselves after experiencing our own disaster.

The answer is, here we need to deal with state and local government bureaucracies and boat loads of attorneys looking to get wealthy on any missteps they can find.

Whereas, in helping them it was our military and non-profit volunteer organizations that were able to respond without local interference.
