Oregon, #1 in labor intensive, fruitless gardening

Headline: Oregon horticultural industry ranks No. 1

Oregon's horticultural industries set a sales record in 2004, with $844 million for nursery and greenhouse products, the Oregon Agricultural Statistics Service reported this week.

=====================================

This is an industry that demands an extremely high level of stoop labor, produces a product that's only worth is found in a Visual and secondarily is non-beneficial other than its creating more demand for low wage stoop labor to maintain this otherwise worthless visual.

Therefore, Oregonians have traded their ability to live peacefully and their children's future so a few large Horticultural growers (many of whom are foreign owned corporations) can enjoy the low cost Illegal Alien labor and the result is we have a garden that bares no fruit.
