We want our moneys worth
If an ODOT employee is monitoring the Traffic Cams and happens to observe a serious traffic crash (formerly known as an accident) do the Reconstruction Investigators wrap yellow ribbon around the office and include the entire ODOT building (and occupants) as part of the scene?
If not, why is that area of any less importance. Isn't contrast level and brightness of the video monitor equally as important data as the amount of road grit and distance between guardrails two traffic lanes over from the point of impact?
I say, if they are going to milk we taxpayers by investigating trivialities and documenting obscure details that serve no purpose and do that to the point of disgust, they should go all the way check that TV screen.
