Is Greece's economic fire coming here next?

Something I keep hearing discussed in the world of finance, but not in mainstream news, is that much of Greece's economy has moved into a cash-only Black Market. This has compounded their governments finance problems as fewer taxes are being paid to support their ever growing number of public employees..

We only need look to Mexico to learn the results of a Black Market economy which the Illegal Immigrants are now establishing in the US.

Mexicans don't trust government, don't trust Police, don't trust banks, believe that possession is nine tenths of the law and thus keep all their cash close at hand. Anyone wanting proof of this need only visit most any business that caters to the Hispanic population where cash is king and that not for banks having tried to gain them as card customers.

Many of our politicians are looking forward to a time when they might benefit from voter support coming from what is now our Illegal Alien population. However they will soon learn the error of their way as the Mexicans are no more likely to pay taxes and support a government here as they didn't in Mexico.

Time will reveal there is no pie under all that meringue.
