Headline: National forests see 27% fewer visitors

News reports the number of visitors to Oregon and Washington national forests suffered a loss of 27% 2007 alone.
Curious there isn't any mention of Forest Visitors feeling threatened by Illegal Alien Pot Growers they encountered when out for a hike in the woods. That or reports of Forest Visitors hearing bullets ripping through the trees above their heads. Fair warning I guess.
Perhaps the reason the public never hears anything of those occurrences is victim reports to law enforcement are usually delayed by several hours, there are no bullet casings or holes found to document in an investigation and what officer in their right mind would venture into the area of complaint alone and without air support.
Lets just cross off our National Forests to Embracing Diversity and Sharing our Wealth with the world.
