Gun, gun, who has a gun?

One of the tricks bad guys like to pull today is when they know the cops are about to swoop down and haul their butts away they like to pass the word via a third person of them "Possibly Having a Gun."

Then, for the next (however many it takes) hours the bad guys will be in total control and Police Negotiators will be treating them with the utmost respect while a small army of cops dressed in full armor will surround their location, lock down and evacuate the neighborhood and provide them with security protection equal to what the President enjoys.

Guess who made the news last night and in the process brought a neighborhood to a screeching halt all while they played a silly game of "who is the boss?"

What the heck, 20 Police officers standing by for 6 to 10 hours along with their armored vehicles and half of them called in while off-duty and paid double time or more with benefits.

What's to worry, its only the taxpayers money?
