Big biz for the sign folks!

Changing the name of NE Portland's popular street Interstate Ave. to Cezar Librado Chavez-Fabela wastes nearly as much money as did the name Martin Luther King Junior Blvd. when it replaced the simple name Union Ave. and that chosen to honor . . . Union workers.

But why stop there?

Portland has many Streets that are named after people and I think it only fair to change them to show the honored person's entire name, not just the last as otherwise they will be forgotten.
Fact is, the best I can tell with searching Google, knowledge of Doctor Glisan has already been lost.

Hold on, but wasn't Cezar Librado Chavez-Fabela a Union leader?

Perhaps Portland should rename Martin Luther King Junior Blvd. (formerly Union Ave.) as Cezar Librado Chavez-Fabela Avenue?

And for fun we could include a SSN# on the sign. Not his SSN# as I know he had one, but many who claim to be his followers would use it anyway and that would help us track them down.
Got a hunch Cezar would want it that way as he was a Law & Order kinda guy.
