Biggest Drug Bust Ever!
That is the common news headline in Oregon today with city after city claiming a new Guinness Record.
Today it was Astoria and last week it was Corvallis.
It almost seems there is some kind of competition with Cities trying to out score each other?
I recall Salem winning the All American Tree City designation as few years back. They posted signs along the freeway proclaiming that award. Its was red, white and blue as I recall. Since then the City has spent huge amounts of money on trees everywhere, but the sign hasn't come back.
Perhaps they are competing for becoming known as an . . .

Do you suppose an All Mexican Drug Bust City freeway sign will feature the Stars and Stripes as well?
