Wow, what a difference a Senate Bill makes.
Dropped into the local KFC (which is 100% Mexican staffed) and noticed a bit of a change.
Quite a bit in fact as the Spanish was flowing with gusto as never before and it was Hispanola in your face.

Oh yes, some of the staff was out front admiring the New Ford Club Cab pickup that Lupe and Jose just bought.

Did you have to point at the pictures on the menu, or were they able to take your order in English?
I hate having to point at a menu item; I'll walk out every time.
I did need to repeat myself several times.
Gone from there, forever!
