Oregon gas tax increase kicks in!

ODOT isn't happy as they don't yet control the air and rail traffic in the state.

Given that ability ODOT would be better able to bring synergy to all the transportation modes and processes, which would result in greater economies and less formation of Greenhouse Gases.

Example: Moving grain from field to ports could well be achieved more economically if routed by freight rail as would moving Granny to the Hospital.

Its time we looked at the Big picture and make those sometimes difficult decisions.
