Please know that your decision to support a Transit District was a blunderers error and something you will soon regret.
Now, please don't compound that mistake by installing Bus Shelters in your neighborhoods as they will bring more crime, violence, illegal drug sales and prostitution than any Dozen Strip Clubs could ever muster.
Build it and they will come!

Bend need only look westward toward Portland to see the tip of the iceberg. Millions of their dollars will end up getting sucked into projects that do nothing to improve highway congestion. Millions more will get sucked into "development" that is little more than window-dressing designed to make it appear as though "Transit" projects are spurring "improvement". It's all tax money, just re-directed.
