Bracing Up, I guess!!
TV News has it the City of Woodburn is getting ready for this weekends Mexicana Festival were thousand upon thousands of people are expected to visit the city.
I might be hard of hearing but I think they said to expect 40,000 people!
With the reporters talking to the Festival promoters we learn how things are expected to run smoothly and without problems (issues) even though Woodburn has been having Gang Fights occurring frequently of late.
It was also mentioned that gangs from outside of Woodburn have joined the event in past years and there haven't been any unusual concerns.
However, with their talking to a few folks on the street I can see how things just might get exciting as they just grinned and said "who knows what will happen as Woodburn is Woodburn." Tee-hee!
My best guess is that it will be weekend to remember for most Woodburn area residents and that based on the riot that occurred at the State Fair Pavilion two weeks ago that only involved one or two thousand people and the Marion County Fair recently canceling their Hispanic events.
It looks as a good time to invest in some "Before Pictures?"
