That figures!

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Hamley & Company the Northwest's #1 outfitter for Cowboy gear located in Pendleton, Oregon.

And while there reviewing the many offerings I asked the sales person, of the many Cowboy hats they sold what percentage were Black against White.

She explained that Black hats have always out sold the White many times over with the only exception being straw hat sales picking up in the heat of Summer.

Then she went on to say that she found my question interesting as Brown cowboy hats are becoming more popular every day and that she was surprised with the change.

That's when I told her of my not being surprised in the least as the American male is not what he once was and today Brown fits the demand all to often.

Did you notice that?

The two men with Arab sounding names our TSA people in Chicago noticed were carrying suspicious items in their baggage, were not interrogated until they landed in Amsterdam.

I don't see how the decision to wait until their arrival in Amsterdam did much to protect the other passengers on the plane . . . but it sure did protect Obama from having his image damaged in the Moslem world.

Little doubt as to what is really important, is there?

Oh yes we need more low-cost housing!

You can see that with the Big Banner in front of the Southview Terrace Apartments.

The best part is Southview Terrace Subsidized Apartments is owned by the Salem Housing Authority (taxpayer supported) and if you call their phone you are likely to be greeted by an automated answering system and able to listen to a young female voice that no speak Engrish as well as the Spanish she uses in part of the message.

Do you suppose the average Oregon Trail Card Holders (Food Stamp) include with their Delivered Pizzas?

Do you suppose Michelle is going to cut them off from their Calzones and Cinnamon sticks?

They haven't a Clue!

Oregon State's Chief economist Tom Potiowski has blown the tax income forecast again and I suspect he will be wrong again with this latest adjustment.

Proof positive our bureaucrats are totally disconnected to the Real World we taxpayers suffer and have not a clue as to how and where they might connect with our reality.

Just how many For Lease signs and vacant store fronts does it take for them to realize they are indicative of business failures.

What's worse is, if they can't see there is a problem then we can be sure they are even further away from recognizing a cause.

Then we have the Clown of the West opting to make an 8% across the board cut to all State operations rather than face those who squander the most such as DHS and the Department of Education.

Come November this garbage will begin to fade and none to soon.

Oh well!

So this dude who lives on Campbell Dr. SE in Salem earns himself two bullet wounds early Monday afternoon that were given him by some folks who escaped in a rusty colored 2 door with a t-panel roof and the event doesn't catch any more attention than if he had just fallen off a bicycle.

I guess that is only fair as it really didn't compare with a woman's body being found behind the Police station in Tigard.

Looks as life here in the USA is getting as cheap as it is in Mexico.

Did you catch the news?

http://www.statesmanjournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=20108170316

A Salem area Fast Food chain is out to hire 35 new employees.

Not one mention about any need for Bilingual skills.

So why all of a sudden do they need all that many employees?

Could it be that we are winning?

Its here, Government News Services!

As a direct result of our poor economy most of our local News gathering businesses, be they TV or Print, have suffered substantial loses of income.

That has brought about major reductions in their operational expenditures. They are darn near broke as ad income from mattress sellers won't pay the bills.

And, as a direct result of the TV and Print people cutting back, many of our governmental agencies have increased their employment by hiring some of those same folks who lost their jobs in TV and Print. Guess having never said anything bad about SEIU pays off for some.

All the remaining TV and Print folks need do now is sit back in the office and wait for the Government News producers to transmit them ready to read/print Press Releases that have been professionally tailored to spin the agency in good light.

Hey, the Government News producers even include pictures and video and guarantee the Newsies the facts, including names, times and places are correct. Is that easy or is that easy?

Now you will understand why tonight's Breaking News story is about a Big Drug Bust that happened . . . last week, and then continues to run 24/7 for the next four days.

So don't be waiting by the TV for that Big story about oppressive government regulations and squanderous waste. That you will only see in the Blogs and then only till Obama shuts us down.

Obama might just be right about the US long having been a Moslem Nation!

Its been a long time but I seem to recall during my school days when Omar our school bus driver would occasionally stop on the route, whip out his rug and do the chant thing on the side of the road. We always looked forward to that as it gave us a chance to hassle Vincent the wimpy kid. Vincent was the closest thing to a girl many of had seen in years. Curious how some of the guys always protected him.

Then there was the time our school Geek demagnetized Omar's compass and him going ballistic. We had never seen an adult act-out (go crazy) like that before. I guess Omar didn't like maps.

Then there was the time RL deliberately sneezed on Ahmed the algebra teacher just after he had eaten a BLT. Everybody but Ahmed got a good laugh out of that. We figured Ahmed was allergic to tomatoes.

Then there was the time the Principal chopped off Donny's right hand for swiping Jimmy's new ball point pen. You can bet your bippy that nobody hooked a ball point after that unscheduled assembly.

Then there was the time during a recess when Bobby, Carl, Nutty Nesmith and I were watching the girls on their side of the playground when Judy fell out of a swing. That was when we all saw her under-pants so then after school we stoned her to death. I remember the Police telling her parents that she fell off her bike while riding in the rock quarry. Never understood why her folks got so angry as they still had two more daughters left.

But what I recall most of all was when during the high school graduation party Nasty Neil dropped something foul in the girls punch bowl and teachers pet, Bonnie the Bitch, barfed in her burka.

I'm sure you recall those kinds of things happening when you went to school here in the old USA, right?

I'm getting smarter as I get Older!

I have learned when the TV News camera moves in very tight for a close-up of a person its usually done to conceal their face or other points that might identify the individual subject.

Such was the case on TV News tonight when a Portland station was reporting on the stimulus funded repair work going on at Timberline Lodge.

This tight close-ups showed a workers hand and arm while they were scraping paint from the exterior of the Lodge. But as the camera backed off just for a millisecond I caught a glance of someone I suspect would be a good E-Verify check.

Curious how all the other workers on camera were full body shots with some interviews and all were quite obviously Gringos.

The image is changing!

I must say one thing positive about Obama and Michelle.

Today, we see many more Blacks working in high-exposure jobs in TV News and all present a more positive image than before when all we saw were Black Rappers and entertainment types who demonstrated what most educated persons consider the worst in behaviors.

This is not a good time for NBA team owners, ya kno what I'm sayin.

As the end nears!!

As we near November its expected the economy will show signs of improving.

However, it should be understood that will result from businesses and voters expecting a house cleaning in Washington DC and that will begin a reversal of the nonsense we have suffered since the Left was given their chance.

Obama and his handlers will try claiming its their efforts that have fostered the improvement but don't believe it any more than the lies they have told to date.
