It was The Big Sunday Event!

Arrived before Noon to find the only musical entertainment was on the main stage in the middle of the food court and it was Mexican dancers wearing traditional costumes of their homeland, Olay!

Sunday: 10:15 am-1:45 pm 4-H Latino Dancers Center Stage

The recorded concertinas and trumpets blared!!

As of 2:00 pm it was still Mexican dancers in traditional costumes of their homeland, yet all the Hispanics I encountered during my time there were as usual speaking loudly in Spanish ONLY, while the crowd in the area was 90% Non-Hispanic and speaking English ONLY.

Not much sign of assimilation there and our tax supported 4-H programs are not helping solve the problem.

Less than 10 minutes into the local 5 O'clock news and the talking heads are already giving us the National news round-up and telling about house fires in Philly and lose gators in Gainesville.

10 after they are normally starting to wrap the Mexican Murder and Mayhem segment and starting in on Gringo news, but with the bad economy comes a slump in the Booze sales and as a result not much action in the way of violence to report.

I predict that in coming months the Booming Business at the Birthing Centers will see a sudden slump and the need for Bilingual employees will also decline but will they get the axe or will more Gringos go?

My reasons are, that I don't need a new car, the return on gas savings would be minimal relative to the cash outlay, it runs well, its comfortable, its not GREEN to waste a perfectly good and functioning vehicle and I don't want to saddle future taxpayers with a burden of my greed.

Now, if the Obamaites offer another Cash for Clunkers deal our children could get stuck with picking up a total of $11,500. bringing the price down to $28,500. which is only $6,500. more than a Toyota Prius.

Who wouldn't want to pay the measly $6,500. for a car that is assembled in the USA.

Local TV stations are now reporting of their significantly cutting staff in their News Departments.

I wonder how many of those who lost jobs are their more recently hired Bi-Lingual employees.

Those who for my benefit are able to pronounce the Killers, Drunk Drivers, Stabbers, Wife Beating, Store Robbing, Gang Member, Children Raping and Child Burning names . . . in Perfect Spanish?

Personally, I would rather hear the name "Hoar-Hey" pronounced in its English form George and I could give a damn about hearing comments about the subject Criminal by another Criminal as translated by some TV News reporter who supports their Criminal culture.

My guess is that some Diversity Embracers now get to Embrace some un-employment checks and time to contemplate losing their homes to the Repo man.

The local TV news people are all giddy in telling viewers about this weekends Bike Only events where Cars are banned and transportation alternatives are promoted, while over half their office desks are empty because of their employers losing income from Auto Dealer advertisements.

Now, think of all the Energy being wasted in transmitting their broadcast signal from those ugly, bird killing transmission towers that blight the landscape, not to forget impact on our environment caused by the radiation.
