I understand!

A young Kool Aid drinking woman explained it on Cable today.

Here is a summary: She and other Obamaites have covered the Huge Economic Hole caused by the .com and Sub-Prime fiascos with a Humongous National Debt which is to be whisked away in a few short years with results coming from The Green Agenda.

Now, if the plan fails and the US economy collapses it will be because . . . the Conservatives failed to Embrace The Green Agenda.

Its all up to us in how well we accept such new age ideas as home insulation made from grape vines, little electric cars with GPS tracking and use meters, having a citizen review board approve our pay-checks and watching government certified TV only when the wind blows on sunny days.

That shouldn't be all that hard to support knowing what our options would be after giving up our guns.

Did you see that White Flash?

Best I could tell it was a White Chrysler product mini-van with Public Vehicle (E) license plates, briskly zipping through the neighborhood and working to minimize the exposure of their activity in delivering the StatesmanJournal's weekly shopper publication.

Not only that, it seems they have reversed the route in a further attempt conceal their activity where a Public Agency is helping a Private (for profit) newspaper business survive the economic slowdown.

And it looked as the State Employee driver was alone in the vehicle. So where was the Developmentally Disabled Adult Sham Student?

Golly sakes, this waste of Taxpayers money is nearing its Third Year anniversary. Do you suppose they will escape the pending budget cuts?

Sorry, they were moving to fast for me to get a picture.

3 People Shot At Salem Park

If prior to this latest event you were to have Googled for news about Northgate Park (Salem) you would have found numerous stories about Hispanic Gang activity and Hispanic Gang Graffiti problems frequently occurring there.

So wouldn't it be easier to simply Embrace the Diversity and re-name it as Hispanic Gang Fight Park North and build Bullet Berms or Freeway Walls on the perimeter to protect the neighborhood.

Then we can let the little beggars have-at each other with whatever weapons they choose.

Its the same principal as a sewage treatment plant where you collect all the crap in one place and then dispose of it in a logical manner.

The question is,

Who will be first to Pop-a-Nuke, Iran or North Korea.

It seems the Libs idea to Reach Out to the Axis of Evil and Establish a Channel of Dialog has bombed right out of the gate.

Lets see if smooth talking Obama and his Tele-Prompter's Magic can get him out of this mess.

No, we have not forgotten!

That being the coward Alfredo De Jesus–Ascencio who killed Marion County Sheriff's Deputy Kelly Fredenburg on June 16th, 2007.

He who intentionally drove his vehicle head-on into Deputy Fredenburg's patrol car and then did nothing to help as the trapped Deputy burned to death.

No, we haven't forgotten at all.

Imagine what you would thinking . . .

If today you awoke from a coma after having been unconscious since November 1, 2008 and discovered this abominable mess we find ourselves entwined.

Not only is our President suggesting Jerusalem be cut in half the US Dollar is about to become equal to the Peso in World value.

Such are the rewards of the apathetic.

I won!!

Sometime last week I spent a buck, bought a Megabucks ticket and today the scanner tells me . . . its a Winner!

Note: It wasn't for me. I did it for the kids.

So, I head to the customer service counter and learn I had won $2.00.

Well not exactly, as the clerk handed me a new $2.00 Megabucks ticket good for the next drawing.

So, maybe I don't want to Win Big.

Imagine how long it would take to print out a Million Megabucks tickets.

But then, I might end up with Two Million new chances.

So just how much is tooooo much?

I fear that Obama-ites are soon to learn what the Captain of a fully loaded Super Tanker already knows.

That is, you can suddenly steer your ship to Port (left) Full Rudder and not see any response for quite some time, but when you do you will likely see your Boat Keel Over.

Obama's new emission standards announced today are another hard pull of the Steering Wheel of our Nation's fragile economy that is often staggered by a bad winter storm.

So just how much is tooooo much?

As for now we are a bit over 100 days into Captain Barry's Top Heavy Cruise and I'm hoping my bundle of Sham Wows work as seen on TV.

Safe Haven

Salem is enjoying a huge influx of welfare drones from across the US who have discovered that Oregon having the Nations second worse economy reduces the possibility of them being offered employment.

Not to fear, there is no work here!

Better yet, Oregon's climate is much better than Michigan, the First Worst in unemployment.

Oregon, we love Dreamers!

Portland is not alone!

That with almost vacant Condo Buildings that are products of Private/Public Partnerships.

Take a look at this and check out the prices. http://www.295church.com/index.html

Please understand this is Salem, not the Pearl or SoWhat.

And to think the nearest up-scale grocery store is less than thirty blocks away.

I am thinking they should re-name the property as the Albert-Ross Condominiums.

Looks as Salem has joined the Fight against Escalating Healthcare Costs

So much so we are soon to enjoy a New Hospital that is all of ten stories including the basement. Its Huge and with its curved glass front dwarfs the old six story (7 with basement) building across Winter Street.

But wait, its not a New Hospital with curved glass and exterior likely to win an architectural award from the City Council.

No, its only ten stories (with basement) of Emergency Department and Surgery with only 120 beds total. I guess one floor of one wing of the old hospital building enjoys 120 beds, so what's it all about.

Its all about Trauma Care as what is a State Capitol without a Trauma Level Care hospital?

Ya see, many years ago OHSU teamed up with powers that be in State government and raised the requirements to qualify a hospital as a Trauma Care Facility. Then after driving out the existing competition OHSU joined with Portland's Emanuel Hospital to garner all the gravy that would befall those offering Trauma Care levels of service. Thus the folks at Salem's Memorial Hospital were left out of the loop when it came to all those good paying Medicare/Medicaid and Oregon Health Plan patients being delivered by Helicopter to the dynamic duo in Portland.

That was then, as by May 17th, 2009 Salem will have a Trauma Care Facility second to none and it will have a Helipad a-top the New ER/Surgery building that is more than able to receive one (often taxpayer supported) helicopter load of high income patients after another.

Fact is the change has already come about with some providing EMS (Emergency Medical Services) in the County. That with 911 dispatchers now asking EMS staff to recognize a new Trauma Code system when responding to a medical call. Calling for a Code,1, 2 or 3 level response has been replaced with a Trauma Code 1, 2 or 3 and I suspect we can all bet the Medicare or Medicaid payments for Trauma Calls well exceed those paid for run-of-mill Code 1,2, and 3 emergency responses.

Just as early the other morning when a Trauma Level 2 call went out for an elderly gent who was a resident of a retirement community. He complained of having a swollen wrist. So that's a Trauma Level call huh?

Yea, I can see how we Oregonians are about to save a whole bunch of money in health care.

Guess I didn't need to know!

While killing time on a break from Jury Duty, I decided to investigate the County Courthouse that has been remodeled since I was last there.

That was when I spotted a flat panel HD-TV hanging on the wall of the Sheriff's Office waiting room.

Ah hah! With the waiting room empty and my wanting to learn how the stock market was doing, I asked the clerk hiding behind bullet-proof glass if it was possible to change the channel to CNBC just for a minute.

Her answer was an empathic . . . NO!

Sensing her being more than a little committed to the present selection of CNN I went to the extreme and suggested that Fox Cable News might also be a good choice for balance.

To that she snidely responded with a smirk-ish grin, "we like CNN."

Minutes later I spotted another flat panel HD-TV hanging on another wall in another courthouse room and darned if it wasn't also tuned to CNN.

Do you ya suppose CNN is mentioned in the Union Contract?

What is good for the Goose!

Oregon's Legislature has a bill (HB 3477) being proposed that will end the practice of our neighborhoods being flooded several times a year with un-wanted and un-requested Telephone Directories.

Its a waste of trees and creates pollution.

That is something to think about, but what say we begin by stopping Community Colleges from sending their Massive Class Schedules multiple times a year to every mailing address in the counties and again to those of us who didn't ask for them.

Monday, May 11, 2009

The rush is on!

That with thousands of recently unemployed people chasing after State and Federal sponsored re-education programs that will help them pay the rent, feed the family all while they attend a Community College where they hope to gain what they were told are educations leading to future employment.

But often times that is when the road to reality leaves the freeway systems and wanders off into wonderland as many of these new students are being guided to dead end streets.

So just how many job openings are there today for Emergency Medical Technicians, Solar Panel Installers and Wind Turbine Maintenance Service Persons?

I would hope some news organization would tell us the facts about what Community College classes are being offered that show any hope for future employment and how many taxpayer supported students are participating in those programs.

Super Ted tells us we need to change our Lifestyle!

Golly gee Super Ted, how much more do we need to change?

I suspect that over 50% of Oregonians outside of those publicly employed are either unemployed or under-employed, our property values are dropping like rocks, our schools are a mess, the sound of gunfire is more common than fireworks, children can't walk to the neighbors, large parts of our cities have become unsafe and dangerous, empty storefronts litter our main streets, women can't safely shop at the mall alone, invaders from Mexico are leaching taxpayers dry, our roads are going to ruin and our Legislature is working on a new State Song.

Not much left for many of us to do except dig a hole and jump in, but only if you go first Teddy.

Astonished he was!

That was the response shown on the face of a CNN news anchor who this AM reported the result of their recent poll.

It had found, that while the majority of those asked in the poll thought our use of interrogation techniques such as water boarding was torture, the same majority also believed that nobody should be punished for their involvement.

There is hope!

Don't ya love it?

Tonight, Ann Curry of NBC News tells us of how its been decided that nobody from the Bush administration will be prosecuted for allowing Torture of Islamic Prisoners in our custody. Bush be Bad and I know she is disappointed.

Then in the next story she reports of the Taliban's activity in Pakistan and shows Taliban members taking a machete to someone when they cut the video just in time but allowed the crunching sound to carry through.

Do you suppose Ann appreciates how the information we gained from interrogations of Islamic Radical's has lessened the chance of them taking a machete to her neck?

Big surprise???

News has it, Obama refuses to release the pictures taken of Air Force One last week as it buzzed Manhattan, claiming they are Classified.

It seems the News brain trust has entirely missed the purpose of the Buzzing and that was simply an Alpha Dog (animal behavior) Activity where the Oman was pissing on the Manhattan Establishment and Wall Street's Fire Hydrant.

However, you can trust the Power Group got the message loud and clear.

Some things never change!

So, I'm in Target at a check-out stand (in Mexalem) when 4 year old Armando ignores his families calls (who were behind me and yammering in Spanish) to come back and shoots out the double doors and onto the parking lot with lightening speed.

Poof, Armando was gone and he didn't look back.

Dad did go after him but didn't hurry all that much as they still had plenty of other kids waiting in line with mom.

I didn't see all the items mom was loading on the conveyor, but you can bet it didn't include any hand sanitizer, face masks or a child leash and harness for Armando.
